Man, I was wondering whatever happened to Wheaton after Stand By Me and Star Trek. That other kid who played Vern got all cut and muscular later, quite a contrast to the pudgester he was in SBM. Stars are a trip.

No doubt. Let's just take a gander at the Stand By Me crew. As you pointed out, Vern became quite the hottie and starred in Sliders (no idea what he's doing today). Wil Wheaton is, well, Wil Wheaton. River Pheonix is, well, no longer on the mortal coil. And Corey Feldman...well, he's the king of has-beens.
