TV's CSI, they ain't humor

Apparently the Illinois State crime lab had trouble distinguishing between cocaine and cement.

I'm not sure which is worse - the horribly incorrect initial analysis, the implication that the crime lab could have screwed up this badly in other (potentially undetected) cases, or the fact that it took the Cook County prosecutor nearly a month to drop the charges.

Pathetic and very alarming.

But maybe not as alarming as the story underneath it titled "Outhouse may have been used for more than body waste". :)
