Nintendo "Megaton" announcement gaming

Nintendo had been hinting that today it would make its "Megaton" news announcement - so code-named because it was to make quite an impact.

Well, the wraps are off "Megaton", and while it's evolution (not revolution), I'll still take one. Behold the stylish Game Boy Advance SP. While this device doesn't have any software advantages (i.e. there aren't going to be any "GBA SP"-only games), it does feature a more attractive and durable design, longer battery life via a mobile-phone-esque rechargable battery, and (answering the prayers of GBA enthusiasts everywhere) it will include a lighting system. Look for it in the US on March 28th.

In other Nintendo news, details about the previously reported US Legend of Zelda bundle are now available at the Nintendo site.
