The silence of the bees gaming

Well, the "I Love Bees" ARG ends today, but hopefully it's going to be a bit of a blowout. Tonight I have a confirmed reservation to attend a special "training exercise" here in Chicago - which will probably mean I'll get to play Halo 2 before the rest of you! (I promise lots of multiplayer details, CF...)

Also, it's nice to know that the little group of intrepid "I Love Bees" players that I formed, the Fireflies, had our site (ilb.extrasonic.com) mentioned in the New York Times.

On the other hand, it'll be sad to see it go - it's been a blast!

Ohhhh MAN! You live in one of the blessed areas! I have great, great heaps of jealousy. Yes, you MUST dish.

I had a tough time with the ILB thing. I had a hard time getting into it, I answered a few phone calls, I've patiently listened to hundreds of WAV files. Recently, I wait for humpty to be updated so I can get it all digested and processed for my consumption.

I guess I got my hopes up for a fabled live call :). Did you ever get one? I love it for the backstory, I love it for the interaction, I just wish I had the wherewithal to have been more active from the beginning.

Enjoy the "training exercise" and get your hiney back here with notes, notes, notes!
